This is an ongoing series of intuitive portrait sketches created without references or the pressure of perfectionism. Taking anywhere from ten minutes to an hour, each piece begins with a blank page and an open mind. I start with just a few simple lines and allow the image to reveal itself.

They aren’t meant to be perfect; they are meant to be felt.

Incredibly, a few of my spontaneous drawings have been recognized by people as their loved ones who have passed away. I can’t explain the mechanics of how this happens, but the connection is undeniable.
